This machete like sword was used only for ceremonial purposes. The handle is clad in gold with a lotus flower etched on its top. The two sides have central chevrons with small four petal flowers bordered by saw tooth and triangle patterns. Part of the blade is also covered with a plate of gold. This is plain on the sides but has a line of diamond patterns on the upper edge. A row of notches has also been sawn into the top edge for decorative or perhaps magical purposes. The wooden sheath is carved with curvilinear leaf and flower patterns.
